Chantelle & Cassie's Amazing Race Audition Vid...

Meet Chantelle and Cassie. Chantelle is Lannie's hairstylist (she raves about her) and she asked if I would help Chantelle and Cassie make an audition video for the CBS show 'The Amazing Race'.

How could I refuse? These two are the dynamic duo! I think they've got the right stuff.

It was a quick, fun shoot yesterday.

Manti + Rachel: Built to Last

Sometimes it's just amazing to be around so much joy and happiness when a couple like Manti and Rachel come out of the temple. Manti is so sweet to Rachel, and really, all I had to do was point the camera in their general direction and out pops a great temple video!

Funny that according to Manti in their Love Story video, he thought he was "headed for the friend zone". Well, now it appears to be more like "To infinity...and beyond!"

Todd & Britney: Cruel To Be Kind

You know, most wedding love stories are a lot like a nice melted cheese sandwich. Todd and Britney's story was all that...but didn't hold the onions.

Just keepin' it real. ;-)

Annie + Mike: Chances Are...

This fabulous couple came to me with a rather ambitious idea for a love story video: shooting at the airport! Well, me being me, I can't pass up a chance to do something I might get in trouble for...but let me just say this--only in Utah could I get away with this! If it were LAX, well, 'nuff said.

Sooo, as it turns out, Annie and Mike have a really awesome tale of how they met and fell in love, and...it's "kind of like a movie". They had dating snapshots and a genuinely cool proposal video Mike took on one of their infamous flights together, which of course had to be included at the end of their story.

What they both really wanted to do was try and re-enact bits of their story on a Southwest flight, which of course was impossible, so my idea was to shoot a "re-enactment" of sorts, but instead shoot what we could at the airport with a feel that would be more like "moments before they first met" at the airport.

Hopefully the results were worth the risky business of showing up at the airport with a steadicam rig, etc. ;-)

Note to self: Airports are not the quietest place to conduct interview shots.
